I discovered a really efficient use of ChatGPT for my personal life. I entered the income and expenses of me and my spouse into GPT in a random order, specifying the frequency of expenses, payouts, interest rates of mortgages, etc. Then I was able to ask GPT questions about what would happen if interest rates increased, ask it to make recommendations of how to divide costs between me and my partner, and so on.
The benefit over using a spreadsheet is that I don't have to write any formulas myself for distributing a quarterly payment over 12 months for example, or make drastic changes and promptly (pun intended) change my mind and try something else.
Asking "Give me the expenses personal to myself that is not common to the household, and give recommendations in the order of which I should try to decrease them" is super powerful and it makes me want to make changes to our economy that pleases GPT. I wonder if I would be able to save enough money and cut enough expenses that it would say "At this point I would suggest you just keep doing what you're doing and don't worry too much about money." I guess that would be a life goal in itself.
